Jim Mason is the founder and sole funder of the Mason Family Foundation. He grew up, attended school, and ran all of his businesses in Aberdeen, WA and throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Jim is a serial entrepreneur and has established many diverse businesses such as a logging, trucking, commercial fueling stations and oil distribution. He has employed many families in the local area, created many life-long friendships and has maintained a strong desire to give back to the community that has supported him throughout the years.

Jim created and funded the Mason Family Foundation in 2021 and appointed three of his family members to serve as the Board of Directors. It is his desire to have his family continue to actively manage the Foundation and make all of the grant making decisions with the intention that the family will continue his philanthropic legacy for generations to come.
